The YMCA Community Campaign

The Community Campaign is the YMCA of Greater Hartford’s annual fundraising drive. It is the primary effort of the Y to raise the important funding used to support financial assistance for members, children and families in our communities and to expand programming.

For 57 years, YMCA Camp Chase, formally known as Holiday Ridge, has been serving the Farmington Valley by providing hundreds of campers an outdoor experience. Camp Chase has begun their own community campaign in efforts of raising contributions to provide scholarships to campers as well as support the Race4Chase program.

Each year hundreds of families face significant financial pressures to due to job loss, illness, education, and more. Thanks to donations from supporters like you, Camp Chase has offered profound memories and growth for over 50 years. The endless possibilities of camp positively change every camper that journeys through the main gate. Please help us keep our camp open to those that need structure, role models, and endless opportunities!

In addition to providing financial assistance, Camp Chase will be entering the 4th year with the Race4Chase Program. The Race4Chase program allows up to 30 campers to participate in a six week triathlon program for no cost. Campers are provided donated bikes, helmets, swim lessons, and top tier training coaches to assist them through this magical process.

Please help us continue these programs by contributing today!

How you can help

  • Make a one-time gift
  • Make a sustaining monthly gift
  • Round up your spare change

How does the Round Up Work?

Every time you make a purchase, your spare change will be rounded up and donated to the YMCA.  Visit a coffee shop and spend $3.60… $.40 will be rounded up.  Roundups are tallied until they reach $5. Once $5 is reached, the donation is triggered and your credit card or bank account is charged. This way, your bank statement doesn’t become overwhelmed with micro-charges.   This is a simple and easy way to create change for the YMCA!

Will I receive a tax deductible receipt for my contribution?

You will receive automatic monthly statements of your contributions to the email address connected to your account. At the end of the year, you may print a year-end receipt of your annual donations by logging in and visiting your Settings. Please consult your authorized legal counsel as to the deductibility of your contributions as the rules vary state by state.

What if I would like to pause or set a limit on my contributions?

You can pause donations at any time by logging into your account and visiting your Donation Settings. You can also set a monthly limit. Roundup donations will halt once your contributions reach your monthly cap.
